The Phantom home theater subwoofer has bass performance that is deep, tight and fast. It features a 12" aluminum die-cast active woofer with a large magnetic system, polypropylene cone, Santoprene surround and large voice coil. The active woofer is complemented with a 15" aluminum die-cast passive radiator tuned down to 17 Hz which is mounted on the opposite baffle. The cabinet is constructed from 1" thick MDF (medium density fiberboard) to minimize cabinet resonance. The subwoofer system is driven by a 300 watt high-current amplifier.
